CAMPBELL KORFF AND ANNIE KORFF – COMPANY OWNERS

Campbell and his wife, Annie, founded Byron Coastal Property Management in 2011 with the goal of establishing a higher standard of property management services in the Northern Rivers.

Campbell has enjoyed a distinguished career in international finance and the law. Prior to establishing BCPM, Campbell was Managing Director at global funds manager, Avenue Capital Group, and senior partner at international law firm Clifford Chance. Campbell is also the founder of Northern Rivers based financial services firm, Korff Wealth https://www.korffwealth.com.au/

Campbell and his family have a deep and longstanding connection with Byron Bay and its vibrant business community. His parents have owned and operated several businesses in Byron Bay since the early 80’s, including Byron Self Storage and Byron Block. When not in the office, Campbell enjoys spending time with Annie and his three daughters, as well as surfing, golf and good food.

Annie plays an active role in our inspection team, carrying out routine inspections on our holiday homes and providing invaluable support to our dedicated holiday team.

JANICE MAPLE
LICENSEE/GENERAL MANAGER

With more than 20 years working in the local area, Janice is an award winning Licensed Real Estate Agent who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. Janice has worked in all areas of real estate, including as a co-owner of her own real estate office in Bangalow from 2010 – 2018. As well as being a selling Principal, Janice also managed the Property Management team. Prior to moving to Byron Coastal Property Management in July 2023, Janice was the Department Manager of the Property Management team at McGrath Byron Bay, Alstonville and Ballina. Her strengths include her exemplary communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, staff mentoring and motivation and ability to see the big picture to find a successful solution to any situation.

FIONA MCINTYRE
SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGER

Professional, reliable and a great communicator, Fiona is the kind of property manager who is dedicated to providing outstanding service to everyone she deals with. She believes that a good property manager ensures both the property owners and tenants feel that their needs are being met and they are being kept up to date. Fiona’s friendly approach enables her to build rapport quickly with all her clients. She thrives on the fast-paced environment of real estate and the fact that no two days are the same. Fiona prides herself on being able to offer all her clients the highest level of care. Highly motivated and optimistic, Ruby’s impressive career  in the Royal Australian Air Force has laid a foundation for professional success, as she worked alongside foreign heads of state and dignitaries. Friendly and hard-working, Ruby approaches her  role in Property Management with efficiency and dedication; she is passionate about providing exceptional service to landlords and tenants alike  and looks forward to her continued professional development.

SHYNE DRIVER
PROPERTY OFFICER

Having attended Byron Primary school, Shyne has been in and out of Byron Bay her whole life. Shyne attended University in Florida studying business, and has spent the last 2 years travelling to various places such as Hawaii, Costa Rica and many parts of the U.S. mainland. Shyne has extensive travel experience with family locally and abroad. Shyne is enthusiastic about her new role in property management and can’t wait to provide exceptional service to landlords and tenants alike.

Beaches

The Pass at Byron Bay on a clear day with blue water

The Wreck at Belongil Beach- the western side of Main Beach car park. See the shipwreck of the “Wollongbar” from the early 1920′s

Clarks Beach to Main Beach- This beach runs from in front of the Surf Club to the Pass and is Byron’s main patrolled beach.

The Pass – The most famous waves in the Bay. Great family beach and great surf off the point. The dive boats leave from this point also. Climb the steps at the lookout at the point and enjoy one of the best views of the Bay. The Pass Cafe is great for lunch or a snack.

Wategos – This is the most easterly beach of the Bay and is very popular with families and long boarders. Also the famous Rae’s Restaurant is situated here.

Tallow Beach – This is a long open beach from the southern side of the Lighthouse all the way down to Broken Head and passing Suffolk Park along the way. You can walk the dog at Suffolk. The surf can be rough here and caution should be taken when swimming.

Cape Byron Lighthouse

Take the walking track from Wategos to the top of the Lighthouse for the best views possible. From the cliffs you can see the dolphins, fish and humpback whales on their annual migration. See the Cape Byron Lighthouse Museum to catch up on the history of the Bay.

Restaurants, Café’s and Nightspots

There is a large selection of restaurants to cater to the different tastes. Good take-away and quick meals are available along Jonson Street, Lawson Street and Bay Lane behind the Beach Hotel. With delicious restaurants all over town there is something to tickle all taste buds.

Enjoy live music every at the iconic Railway Friendly Bar locally known as “the Rails”. A family favourite by day and lively pub by night the Beach Hotel is another icon. In the heart of town, the Great Northern has live entertainment to while away the night.

Hinterland Eateries

There is a selection of towns to drive to with some great little restaurants attached. Mullumbimby is about 15 minutes drive from Byron Bay, Federal 25 minutes, and the charming town of Bangalow, just 12 minutes away, offers a wonderful selection of cafes and clothes shops.
